Welcome to the Phoenix MFC Micklebring website.
We are a small friendly model flying club situated only 5 minutes from junction 1 of the M18, conveniently placed between Sheffield Rotherham and Doncaster.
We welcome all levels of ability from complete novice to seasoned expert flyer. Help and advice is always freely available, along with free instruction for new flyers.
Unobstructed flying with no trees and low hedges, along with comfortable all year round flying thanks to our heated club house, complete with comfortable seating and full cooking facilities.
The regularly mown grass strip provides a great surface to fly from.
We have now done a deal with the farmer to extend the strip to approximately 150 metres. This has been prepared and planted and should be ready to use in the spring
